Advancing Palm Oil Awareness through Tourism Education

The third session of the Malaysian Palm Oil Continuing Tourism-Related Education (CTRE) Programme 2026 brought together 40 members of the Pahang Tourist Guides Association (PHTGA) for an immersive learning experience at Lepar Hilir, Pahang, offering first-hand exposure to Malaysia’s palm oil industry.


Held in collaboration with FGV Plantations Malaysia, the programme provided participants with practical insights into nursery operations, harvesting techniques, mechanisation, sustainability practices, and the health and nutritional aspects of Malaysian palm oil, further strengthening their understanding of the industry's role, sustainability journey, and contribution to Malaysia's economy.


Strategic Engagement with Malaysia’s Incoming Ambassador to Türkiye

MPOC welcomed His Excellency Adlan Mohd Shaffieq to its headquarters ahead of his appointment as Malaysia’s Ambassador to Türkiye.


The engagement provided an opportunity to discuss Türkiye’s strategic importance as one of the top five importers of Malaysian palm oil in 2025, as well as the role of Malaysian palm oil within the country’s oils and fats sector.


His Excellency was also briefed on current market developments and potential areas of collaboration between MPOC and the Malaysian Embassy in Türkiye to further strengthen the presence of Malaysian palm oil in the market.


Showcasing Sustainability at Biodiversity Forum 2026

3–4 June 2026 • Putrajaya, Malaysia

The Biodiversity Forum 2026, organised by the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF) and the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), brought together policymakers, researchers, conservation experts and industry stakeholders for a national dialogue on biodiversity conservation and sustainable plantation practices.


The forum was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah Bin Mohd Yusof, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities, Malaysia.


MPOC participated with an exhibition booth showcasing the Malaysian palm oil industry’s sustainability journey, highlighting how science, certification and biodiversity conservation initiatives contribute to responsible industry development and long-term environmental stewardship.


Showcasing Malaysian Palm Oil at Seoul Food & Hotel 2026

9–12 June 2026 • Seoul, South Korea

MPOC participated in Seoul Food & Hotel 2026, showcasing how Malaysian palm oil delivers quality, performance and MSPO-backed sustainability across a wide range of food applications, from consistent frying performance to bakery functionality and ingredient versatility.


MPOC was joined by Malaysian co-exhibitors, IFFCO SEA (M) Sdn. Bhd. and SOP Foods Sdn. Bhd., in engaging industry visitors and demonstrating the role of Malaysian palm oil in supporting food innovation, product development and evolving market needs across the food manufacturing and foodservice sectors.


Strengthening Strategic Collaboration with Les’ Copaque

MPOC welcomed Datuk Wira Hj. Burhanuddin Md Radzi, Managing Director and Founder of Les’ Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd., and Datin Hjh. Ainon Ariff, Chief Content Director of Les’ Copaque, to its headquarters for a strategic discussion with MPOC Chief Executive Officer, Ms Belvinder Sron.


The visit followed MPOC’s award-winning collaboration with Les’ Copaque through the “Minyak Sawit” and “Wira Minyak Sawit” episodes, which have collectively garnered more than 175 million views on YouTube and were recently recognised at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026.
