Such engagements play an important role in helping consumers and industry stakeholders make informed food choices, while promoting responsible and sustainable production practices.
Through continued engagement with scientific and academic communities, MPOC aims to build long-term awareness of sustainable Malaysian palm oil across India, reinforcing the importance of credible science and collaboration in shaping a healthier and more sustainable food future.

Collaboration at Gulfood 2026
26–30 January 2026 • Dubai, United Arab EmiratesMPOC’s week-long engagements from 26–30 January 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre highlighted strong global alignment on long-term value, consistency and a shared commitment to sustainable palm oil. In collaboration with 13 Malaysian co-exhibitors—IOI Group, SOP Foods, Southern Edible Oil, Oilnco, Naturz Industries, Chef Direct, Eezdee Intrade, Purity International, Trois Continental, Britz Network, Global Speciality Ingredients, Wilee Vegetable Oils and Tristar Global—MPOC facilitated meaningful exchanges that strengthened mutual understanding and reinforced Malaysia’s position in the global palm oil market.
The MPOC booth was also honoured by a visit from His Excellency Tengku Sirajuzzaman Tengku Mohamed Ariffin, Ambassador of Malaysia to the United Arab Emirates, underscoring the importance of strategic partnerships and continued industry engagement.
These engagements laid the groundwork for future collaboration, stronger supply chains and sustained international engagement for sustainable Malaysian palm oil, reinforcing Malaysia’s role as a key contributor to a responsible and resilient global palm oil economy.

Malaysia-India CEOs Forum 2026
7 February 2026 • Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaThe 10th Malaysia–India CEOs Forum 2026, held on 7 February 2026 with the support of the Malaysia India Business Council, brought together senior business leaders and investors from both countries amid a period of deepening economic cooperation. The forum coincided with the visit of the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to Malaysia, underscoring the strength and momentum of the bilateral relationship.
Discussions highlighted the complementary nature of the Malaysian and Indian economies, with trade, investment and supply chain collaboration playing an increasingly important role in supporting shared growth.
MPOC was represented by Chief Executive Officer Ms. Belvinder Sron, who joined industry leaders in exploring opportunities to strengthen long-standing ties and develop forward-looking partnerships between the two markets. 10–11 February 2026 • Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaThe 37th Palm & Lauric Oils Price Outlook Conference & Exhibition (POC 2026) opened with strong momentum, featuring a visit to the MPOC booth by YB Dato' Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Minister of Plantation and Commodities, Malaysia, warmly received by CEO Ms. Belvinder Sron.
Highlights included Dato’ Carl Bek-Nielsen’s Special Paper, ‘Sustainable Palm Oil: Navigating in Uncertain Times’, and a CEO Roundtable moderated by Ms. Belvinder, which explored how Malaysia can future-proof its palm oil industry sustainably and competitively.
Industry leaders and regulators addressed the realities of 2026, discussing tighter compliance, evolving standards, and market volatility through sessions on risk management, regulatory shifts, and strengthening transparent market access.
