Through MPOC’s Buyer Engagement Programme

MPOC successfully hosted a Trade and Networking Visit for 37 prominent Chinese buyers, bringing together key industry players from both the food and non-food sectors for a series of targeted engagements in Malaysia.
The programme featured visits to major plantation, refinery and manufacturing facilities, offering delegates first-hand exposure to Malaysia’s sustainable, high-quality palm oil production ecosystem and its integrated supply chain capabilities.
The visit also included structured business matching sessions and engagements with Malaysian suppliers and industry leaders, enabling direct and meaningful discussions on sourcing requirements, market developments and potential collaboration opportunities. These interactions helped strengthen commercial linkages while enhancing mutual understanding of market expectations and operational needs.
A key highlight of the programme was the Industry Dialogue with the Minister of Plantation and Commodities, which provided an open platform for exchanging views on market trends, supply reliability and long-term cooperation. The dialogue reinforced Malaysia’s commitment to maintaining stable supply, sustainability leadership and strong trade partnerships with China.
From Policy to Practice: MENA Media Experience Malaysia’s Palm Oil Sustainability Efforts

Journalists from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) gained first-hand insights into how Malaysia balances palm oil development with wildlife and forest protection. At the Malayan Tiger Conservation Centre, they observed collaborative conservation efforts involving wildlife authorities and the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF), and learned how the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) certification system reinforces responsible forest management practices.
The programme continued at the National Elephant Conservation Centre, where journalists were exposed to practical, on-the-ground approaches to human–wildlife coexistence. Through direct engagement with ongoing programmes and fieldwork, the visit demonstrated tangible conservation efforts in action—moving beyond abstract assurances to showcase real solutions and measurable outcomes.
Exploring Palm-Based Animal Feed Opportunities in Saudi Arabia

The Palm Oil Seminar on Animal Feed, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was officiated by H.E. Dato’ Syed Bakri, Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The seminar brought together industry stakeholders to discuss the expanding role of palm kernel expeller (PKE), palm kernel cake (PKC), and other palm-based feed ingredients in supporting the growth and resilience of Saudi Arabia’s livestock sector.
The programme featured practical, data-driven insights shared by industry experts. This was complemented by a BizMatch session that facilitated direct engagement between Malaysian companies and local stakeholders, enabling discussions on potential collaboration opportunities, and fostering meaningful and forward-looking industry partnerships.
MPOC Showcases Malaysian Palm Oil Innovation at Fi Europe 2025

MPOC, together with KLK Oleo, SOP Nutraceuticals and Unitata, engaged with global industry players at Booth 73N18, highlighting how Malaysian palm oil supports sustainability, functionality and product innovation across food and ingredient applications. The delegation also participated in the Visit Malaysia 2026 launch, graciously hosted by H.E. Datuk Eldeen Husaini bin Mohd Hashim, Malaysian Ambassador to France, reinforcing Malaysia’s broader positioning as a dynamic and forward-looking partner on the global stage.
MPOC West Africa Outreach—Lagos & Dakar
3–5 December 2025 • Lagos, Nigeria & Dakar, Senegal
MPOC successfully concluded its palm oil outreach programmes in Lagos and Dakar, providing an effective platform for Malaysian suppliers to engage directly with key buyers across the West African market.
The seminars attracted more than 75 industry participants, including stakeholders from the oils and fats sector, alongside Malaysian companies Delima Oil, Mac World Industries and GSI.
Both events were well received, strengthening commercial partnerships, opening new market opportunities and further reinforcing the presence of Malaysian palm oil across the West African region.
Celebrating the Best of the Malaysian Palm Oil Culinary Series 2025

The Malaysian Palm Oil Culinary Series 2025 concluded in style with the special “Greatest Hits” Masterclass at the SA Chefs Centre for Culinary Excellence, celebrating the chefs, dishes and innovations that defined the year.
The final edition reunited some of our favourite chefs to showcase standout recipes and techniques, from frying and baking mastery to plant-based creations, chocolate indulgence, festive cooking and fusion flavours. With chefs, caterers and HORECA professionals in attendance, the event was filled with energy, inspiration and collaboration.

MPOC, together with Malaysian co-exhibitors Naturz Group, Mac World Industries, Able Perfect, Sacha Inchi, and Premium Vegetable Oils, made a notable impact at Food Africa 2025. The event offered a vibrant platform to engage with industry stakeholders, highlight the versatility and advantages of Malaysian palm oil solutions, and foster meaningful connections while exploring new opportunities across the food sector.
LC Xpo 2025: MPOC Highlights Education and Innovation in Palm Oil
11–14 December 2025 • Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
In conjunction with Les’ Copaque Production’s 20th anniversary, LC Xpo 2025 was held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur from 11–14 December, with MPOC participating as both an exhibitor and co-sponsor.
The MPOC booth, showcasing the importance of sustainability, innovation, and education in the palm oil sector, was visited by YB Tuan Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, Chairman of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), and YBhg. Datuk Haji Burhanuddin Md Radzi, Founder of Les’ Copaque Production.
